We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with 3+ years of experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks from scratch. You will be responsible for developing and executing automated tests for APIs, front-end, and back-end systems, ensuring software quality and reliability. We're looking for QA Automation Engineer who has:

  • 3+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer (mandatory);
  • Proven experience in setting up test automation frameworks from scratch;
  • Experience with front-end testing tools such as Cypress, Selenium, or Appium;
  • Proficient in at least one backend testing tool, such as pytest;
  • Experience in API testing and web automation;
  • Test strategy planning, execution, and management;
  • Strong proficiency in integration testing;
  • Working knowledge of test management software (e.g., qTest, Zephyr);
  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors effectively;
  • Working knowledge of SQL;
  • Good written and verbal skills in English (at least Upper-Intermediate Level);
  • Ability to triage and prioritize tasks, attention to detail, problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently

Would be a Plus

  • Experience working with financial institutions or in the fintech industry;
  • Familiarity with mock frameworks for backend testing;
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline integration.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a QA Automation Engineer you will:

  • Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks and test cases from scratch to ensure high-quality standards;
  • Actively contribute to the team’s test strategy, automation coverage and overall quality assurance processes;
  • Develop and execute automated test cases for API, front-end, and back-end testing;
  • Stay updated with the latest automation tools and approaches to improve testing efficiency;
  • Review and analyze system specifications to identify automation opportunities;
  • Execute automated and manual test cases and analyze results;
  • Report bugs, errors, and test results clearly to development teams, and help troubleshoot issues;
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and manual QA engineers, to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle;
  • Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing to ensure product stability.
