We are looking for a Trainee/Junior Software QA Engineer to join our team and perform manual testing of web applications. This position includes maintaining and improving quality standards within a system and escalating issues to the engineering team.

Projects: Internal web projects and a mobile project for our UK client.

REQUIREMENTS

We're looking for Trainee/Junior Software QA Engineer who has:

  • Previous related work experience or internship is a plus;
  • Dev tool knowledge (Chrome DevTools, Firefox DevTools, Postman, Swagger) ;
  • Understanding the purpose of Software Quality and QA role in the team;
  • Knowledge of Fundamental Test Process Phases;
  • Knowledge of Testing Types and Techniques;
  • Knowledge of Test Documentation types/purpose;
  • Familiarity with test case/project management tools (e.g., JIRA);
  • Good Level of English: at least Upper-Intermediate.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We're looking for Trainee/Junior Software QA Engineer who will:

  • Create and maintain test documentation;
  • Testing and further managing bugs through the Jira system;
  • Actively participate in meetings, moderate Bug Triage and Demo meetings.
