We are looking for a skilled and motivated business analyst ready to take on a challenge and implement complex business logic from the educational domain related to research information systems into a set of clear requirements for back-end and front-end developers. Be prepared to be in constant contact with the customer. Focus and attention to detail are highly desired for the potential candidate. As a Business analyst, you will:

  • Define and prioritise high-level requirements;
  • Collect estimates from developers;
  • Prepare roadmaps;
  • Specify low-level requirements based on spoken and written communication with the technical customer;
  • Review visual prototypes;
  • Prepare the scope of the sprint — creating user stories, conducting groomings and planning with the team;
  • Make functional testing of the self-prepared part of the scope;
  • Analyse 3rd parties API documentation and create integration requirements for back-end developers.

We are looking for a Business Analyst who:

  • Has 2+ years of experience as a Business/System Analyst;
  • Has analytical and communications skills necessary to gather and define business requirements and translate them into solutions;
  • Has strong system analysis skills (data modelling);
  • Has an understanding of REST API;
  • Has the ability to read JSON and describe new ones in detail for the request/response models of the endpoints;
  • Has basic knowledge of SQL and understanding of how relational databases work, ability to read the DB schema;
  • Has advanced English level.
